Ayesha Basi

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hi, I'm Ayesha (she/her)! I offer space to explore, understand, and make sense of your internal world, your relationships with others, and the world around you. My therapeutic practice focuses on supporting you to explore everything that's preventing you from leading your life in a way that meets your deepest desires. Together we'll explore the experiences and feelings that feel challenging in your life and deep dive into understanding the root causes of how and why they impact you in the way that they do. We'll bring to awareness any unconscious beliefs, feelings and thoughts to support us in creating space for new ways of being to emerge that feel most authentic and meaningful to you.

In specific, I have experience working with C-PTSD and trauma (developmental/attachment/interpersonal trauma), anxiety, depression, stress/burn-out, shame/guilt, boundary work, emotion dysregulation, reclaiming authenticity, re/connecting to your sense of self, life/identity transitions, self-esteem/self-worth, meaning making and grief/loss. I'm here to support you in embodying and occupying space internally and externally in a way that feels most meaningful to you.

I bring a gentle, warm, compassionate and curious stance to support you in more intimately understanding yourself, while also navigating this one wild and precious life that we are given.

I am also a yoga and meditation teacher and did an additional two year program in Contemplative Psychotherapy to bridge together Eastern and Western Psychology.

I love being in nature—I spend winters cross-country skiing and summers camping, canoeing and hiking.

QUICK FACTS

I think rest is radical—and I love curating spaces and experiences for others to rest and connect to themselves.
