About

The Refined Approach

At Refine, our approach to care is different. We’re not your basic wellness clinic. We have created a dynamic team-based approach to recovery and an elevated patient experience.

We take our time with each patient, curating a unique treatment plan, rehab program, and wellness experience. By the time you leave, you’ll have a better understanding of your body and a clear path to feeling your best.

Dr. Meg & Dr. Andrea

MEET THE REFINE Founders

Dr. Meg and Dr. Andrea first connected in 2019 while doing their acupuncture training. But it wasn’t until 2021 that the idea of Refine began to materialize. Dr. Meg and Dr. Andrea always knew they wanted to create a space to offer exceptional care—but in a welcoming environment where people wanted to spend time. They wanted to find a way to offer an elevated experience in rehab and wellness that remained inclusive of Ottawa’s diverse and wonderful population.

Fast forward one year, 10,000 emails, and 2,344 text messages—and the perfect space became available. It was at this moment that Refine became more than just an idea.

Dr. Meg

I am so excited to create and grow this wonderful community in the heart of the Glebe. I love Ottawa and am so excited to bring amazing quality care to the community in which I live and work! I don’t believe in a quick fix and a one-size-fits-all treatment model: I like to incorporate several techniques into one treatment to best suit each of my patients. I love what I do, and I’m passionate about movement and health. But above all, I really enjoy meeting new people and learning their stories. Everyone who comes to Refine has a different goal. My hope is that we can help you achieve yours.

Dr. Andrea

I am beyond thrilled to be offering care in a thriving community in Ottawa. Although I do not live in the Glebe neighbourhood anymore, I’ve spent countless days and hours walking this section of Bank st. I was born and raised in Ottawa, and moved back here in 2019 with my husband to raise my young family (I have two daughters). I do not believe in quick fixes and I will work hard to get to the root of your pain or injury. I use a wide array of treatment modalities from acupuncture and adjustments to proper breathing techniques. I am passionate about movement, bodies and hearing everyone’s story, which means that I am in the perfect career!
